# IELTS Simon Writing Task 2, Lesson 4: Conclusions

নতুন কিছু না, Introduction-এর উত্তরটাই অন্য শব্দে: ৪ ধরনের প্রশ্নে ১ বাক্যের Conclusion

হ্যালো এভরিওয়ান! গত তিনটি লেসনে আমরা IELTS Writing Task 2-এর ওভারভিউ, ইন্ট্রোডাকশন এবং মেইন প্যারাগ্রাফ লেখার নিয়ম বিস্তারিত শিখেছি। আজকে লেসন ৪-এ আমরা দেখবো পুরো এসে-এর শেষ কিন্তু অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ— **Conclusion বা উপসংহার** কীভাবে মাত্র ১ বাক্যে নিখুঁতভাবে শেষ করা যায়।

অনেকে মনে করেন উপসংহার অনেক বড় করতে হয় বা শেষে নতুন কোনো সারপ্রাইজ আইডিয়া দিলে ভালো মার্কস পাওয়া যায়। **এটি একটি সম্পূর্ণ ভুল ধারণা!**

## কনক্লুশন লেখার ২টি নিয়ম

1. **নতুন কোনো তথ্য দেওয়া যাবে না (Nothing New):** কনক্লুশনে কখনোই নতুন কোনো যুক্তি, পয়েন্ট বা অপিনিয়ন আনবেন না। যেটিকে সাইমন স্যার বলেন "Surprise Conclusion"—যা এক্সামিনাররা একেবারেই পছন্দ করেন না। আপনার মূল বক্তব্য আপনি আগেই ইন্ট্রো ও মেইন বডিতে বলে ফেলেছেন, শেষে এসে কোনো নতুন চমক দেওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই।
1. **মাত্র ১টি বাক্যই যথেষ্ট (Just 1 Sentence):** কনক্লুশন বড় করার কোনো দরকার নেই। ইন্ট্রোডাকশনে আপনি যে উত্তরটি দিয়েছিলেন, সেটিকে অন্য শব্দে (Paraphrase করে) ১ বাক্যে পুনরায় সামারাইজ করে দিলেই কনক্লুশন পারফেক্ট হয়ে যাবে।

## কনক্লুশন লেখার মূল কৌশল (The Paraphrasing Technique)

- **সূচনা:** সবসময় **"In conclusion,"** দিয়ে শুরু করবেন। ফ্যান্সি কোনো কানেক্টর (যেমন: _To wrap up_, _In a nutshell_, _To put it in a nutshell_) খোঁজার দরকার নেই, এতে কোনো বাড়তি মার্কস নেই।
- **Paraphrasing:** ইন্ট্রোডাকশনে আপনি প্রশ্নের যে ওভারঅল উত্তর দিয়েছিলেন, সেটিকেই নতুন কিছু সমার্থক শব্দ (Synonyms) দিয়ে রি-রাইট করুন। এতে আপনার ভোকাবুলারির ভ্যারাইটি (Lexical Resource) প্রকাশ পায় এবং ভালো Band স্কোর পাওয়া সহজ হয়।

## ৪ ধরনের প্রশ্নে ১ বাক্যের কনক্লুশন (উদাহরণের মাধ্যমে দেখা যাক)

### ১. Discussion + Opinion Question (সিসিটিভি ক্যামেরা)

- **Intro Answer:** _While I understand that critics may see this as an invasion of privacy, I believe that there are more benefits than drawbacks._
- **Conclusion:** _In conclusion, I would argue that the advantages of using video security systems in public places do outweigh the disadvantages._

**শব্দ পরিবর্তন (Paraphrasing):**

- "I believe" ➔ **"I would argue"**
- "Video surveillance" ➔ **"Video security systems"**
- "More benefits than drawbacks" ➔ **"Advantages do outweigh disadvantages"**

### ২. Opinion Question (প্রাইভেট স্কুলের ট্যাক্স ছাড়)

- **Intro Answer:** _Some people believe that parents of children who attend private schools should not need to contribute to state schools through taxes. Personally, I completely disagree with this view._
- **Conclusion:** _In conclusion, I do not believe that any financial concessions should be made for people who choose private education._

**শব্দ পরিবর্তন (Paraphrasing):**

- "Completely disagree" ➔ **"Do not believe"**
- "Should not need to contribute through taxes" ➔ **"Financial concessions"**
- "Parents of children who attend private schools" ➔ **"People who choose private education"**

### ৩. Problem & Solution Question (বয়স্ক জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি)

- **Intro Answer:** _Although there will undoubtedly be some negative consequences of this trend, societies can take steps to mitigate these potential problems._
- **Conclusion:** _In conclusion, various measures can be taken to tackle the problems that are certain to arise as the populations of countries grow older._

**শব্দ পরিবর্তন (Paraphrasing):**

- "Societies can take steps to mitigate" ➔ **"Various measures can be taken to tackle"**
- "Undoubtedly some negative consequences" ➔ **"Problems that are certain to arise"**
- "People expect to live longer" ➔ **"Populations grow older"**

### ৪. Two-part Question (সঙ্গীতের গুরুত্ব)

- **Intro Answer:** _Music is a vital part of all human cultures for a range of reasons, and I would argue that traditional music is more important than modern international music._
- **Conclusion:** _In conclusion, music is a necessary part of human existence and I believe that traditional music should be given more importance than international music._

**শব্দ পরিবর্তন (Paraphrasing):**

- "Vital part of all human cultures" ➔ **"Necessary part of human existence"**
- "I would argue" ➔ **"I believe"**
- "Is more important" ➔ **"Should be given more importance"**

## আজকের ব্লগের টেক-অ্যাওয়ে (Takeaways)

1. কনক্লুশন হবে মাত্র **১ বাক্যের**।
1. সবসময় **"In conclusion,"** দিয়ে শুরু করবেন।
1. নতুন কোনো পয়েন্ট বা অপিনিয়ন শেষে আনবেন না।
1. ইন্ট্রোডাকশনের উত্তরটিকেই নতুন শব্দে ঘুরিয়ে (Paraphrase করে) লিখবেন।
